Longing Freesia

Somebody gave me water
And with it I easily drew a rainbow
To be the me I want to be
It's hard, isn't it?
 
Without also suffering
I won't be able to seize my victory
I just want to bloom
 
I have some silly dreams
But to make them come true,
I don't mind being laughed at
Only I will decide my own limits
Limits or not, I'll conquer tomorrow
Ah aiming at the wide blue sky
It's in full bloom, the longing freesia
 
Someone once told me
'To live is also to die'
It's most likely not a lie
Yet even so,
It breaks my heart
 
All the times I cried and all the times I laughed
They're the flowers in the garden of my mind
And they'll make me strong
 
So many flower petals have been sacrificed
And I'm still here on top because of them
Will I be happier if I just admit I've lost?
Or would that be a disservice to the me of tomorrow?
Yet today I remain mired in doubt
I still yearn for that longing freesia
