Angel Ground

Call it the angel-grounds or the heaven-earth if you want,
the earth we inherited and the grove so green.
Wild roses and harebells and linden flowers and chamomile
let them live, after all, they are so beautiful.

Let the children dance like angels around maple and elm, play peekaboo amongst the flowering branches.
Let birds fly and sign to us their hymn,
let fish swim amongst jetties and rocks.

Stop eradicating all the animals of the forests!
Let the eagle fly, let the deer run!
Let the last river that flow trough our nature
flow all the same between butterflies and spruce and pine!

Call it the angel-grounds or the heaven-earth if you want,
the earth we inherited and the grove so green.
Wild roses and harebells and linden flowers and chamomile
let them live, after all, they are so beautiful.

Nocturne (Sleep in my arms)

Sleep in my arms! Night hides
Under its wings your flaring cheek
Happy and warm soon you dream
Let me flee in dreams like the wave flees the wind

Captured again. Gasping. Fighting.
Will not. Will. And will be kissed again.
Slumber my friend! Night slips
Love guards you tenderly and silent

Sleep in my arms! The crescent of the moon
Lifted out of the groves' shadow
And to your bosom my love
Carves its reflection of the flight of the hours

Holy the free heart that lives
In the middle of whirling blood streams uproar!
Your battle has ended. The moon is lit
The wind of the spring night. Sleep in my arms.
