The little boat skips across the waters
while a tranquil breeze blows,
but if a powerful storm then
blackens the skies and makes
the waves swell,
it is bound to be lost at sea.
 
This heart of mine refuses
to surrender thus to the
whims and fury
of merciless fate –
it may be facing death,
but it will emerge the victor.
