Sonnet

To do a sonnet Violante1commands,
that I never saw myself in such mare's nest.2
Fourteen verses they tell it's sonnet,
mockery mocking3 go three ahead.
 
Thought I that wouldn't find consonant
and I 'm in the half of other quartet

To leave and to stay, and to leave by staying...

To leave and to stay, and to depart by staying,
to depart with no soul, and to leave with another one,
to hear the sweet singing of a mermaid,
but still unable to let the tree go
