With them the song is composed
There are seven, but chords are great
Because they can make the heart happy
 
Together they form the ladder
That gives each one their identity
It could be called a song scale
It's better to call it a musical scale
 
The most fun is seeing them in action
When they settle for the composition
 
The Do that holds down the ladder
The Re perches on top snooping
The Mi is in third position
The Fa settles as the fourth step
The Sol stands fifth and shouts
The La who rises to the sixth, the rascal
The Si being seven gets dizzy
And there's the scale in its composition
