Besides those friends that hang around,
In this world, there is a secret circle bound
of my friends, invisible, unknown...
I’m also someone’s unknown friend.
 
Besides those enemies that are just there,
Also in this world, there’re a hundred gangs somewhere
of my enemies, invisible, unknown...
I’m also someone’s unknown foe.
 
Besides those lifeless planets,
Perhaps, for millions of years, towards us travels
A distant light from the invisible, unknown,
Yet, planets that are loving and sentient.
 
It could be that no blood is shed in their battles,
Instead, the trophies are for the love settled,
For the circle of friends invisible, unknown,
For the brotherhood of the worlds well-travelled.
 
Besides those friends that hang around,
There may be an interplanetary circle bound
of my friends, invisible, unknown...
I’m also their interplanetary friend.

Wonders never cease

Past our porch at brisk a pace
Strode a beard with no face,
Marched alone a rusty skillet
And two omelets on the plates!
 
Past our fence a little later
Walked a bonnet of tomato,
Tie of cucumber went by
And a beard with no eye.
 
Past our balcony of stone
Walked a number of the phone,
Went beginning to the end
And a beard with no hand.
 
Days of week went in a row,
Briefcase handle made a show,
Came a button for the coat
And for muffler who knows what.
