Tonight I invite love in

It rages inside me like a hurricane,
Like a storm at sea,
Whoo hee, it's my blood.

My fire needs an outlet,
If there were someone I fancied today,
Whoo hee, would he be in luck.

Tonight I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.
There's nothing I'm interested in knowing today,
Because I only want to kiss the whole night through.

Often someone's lips have brought me bliss and oblivion.
So today I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.

Because this passion
Time and again brings joy,
Whoo hee, is why I like it.

I have never said 'No',
Since my type is very popular
Whoo hee, with many gentlemen.

Tonight I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.
There's nothing I'm interested in knowing today,
Because I only want to kiss the whole night through.

Often someone's lips have brought me bliss and oblivion.
So today I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.

Tonight I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.
There's nothing I'm interested in knowing today,
Because I only want to kiss the whole night through.

Often someone's lips have brought me bliss and oblivion.
So today I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.

Often someone's lips have brought me bliss and oblivion.
So today I invite love in,
Today I want to be happy the whole night through.

Trandafirul din Novgorod

Trăia odată în Novgorod
cea mai frumoasă copilă din lume.
Războiul a venit la Novgorod,
iubitui ei s-a dus la război.

Ea i-a dat un trandafir,
un trandafir roșu ca sângele.
'Întoarce-te curând la Novgorod
și rămâi mereu bine cu mine!'

~ ~ ~

Primăvara a venit la Novgorod,
trandafirii înfloreau roșii.
Dar afară, departe de Novgorod,
era încă război și moarte.

Anii au trecut peste țară
și inima ei era foarte grea.
Ea aștepta în Novgorod,
dar el nu s-a întors niciodată.

The Rose of Nowgrod

One there lived in Nowgrod
the most beautiful child in the world
then war came to Nowgrod
her beloved went off to the fields (of war)

She gave him a rose
A rose as red as blood
come back soon to Nowgrod
and stay forever good for me

Spring came to Nowgrod
The roses bloomed red
But aut there, far from Nowgrod
There was still war and death

Years passed over the land
and her heart was so heavy
She waited in Nowgrod
But he never returned.
