Masters of speech

Oh My God
Why should I learn this Arabic language?
Why must I stuff my brain with a language that is useless in the world?
What is the point of pronouncing words from the time of the Quraysh, spoken?
Are we in the Abbasid era or the Umayyad dynasty?
In this time period, tell me, where is Arabic?
In the buildings of science, you won't find an Arabic book.
In the age of technological progress, it still crawls like a young girl.
Even if the intention is good,
Her sound seems vague.
It excelled in describing the sword,
It gave birth to musical songs.
What is this violence disguised in a literary cloak?
Its poems are few about love, and the rest are war songs.
As if the poet is promised a slave and a captive in war.
The second hardest language to speak, after Chinese.
Does it compare itself to the civilization of the people of China?
I don’t know what’s behind the difficulty of a language that is not essential,
In the world of digital numbers and matrices.
Talk to me about the language of deceit, I won’t trust a deceptive language.
And letters that were dragged forcefully, words that once had reverence.
The unknown builds its verbs with a hidden pronoun.
Its subject is always raised, even if done by proxy.
Oh My God!
For one description, there are more than a thousand words.
At the same time, you see a word that could describe a hundred things.
I don’t understand the logic of this language, I’ll abandon it without a trace of regret.
My time is precious I won’t waste it in grammar or conjugation.
I challenge you to mention its contributions in engineering,
Or in space sciences with a telescope or lens.
How many inventors speak it? It has no competition.
If it contributed to science, why did we neglect it in school?
Its letters are cursed, as they change depending on their position in the word.
They separate in some words, and in others they seem to merge.
The reader must, by force, struggle and adhere
To the grammar, for if he doesn't, we won’t hear him and won’t respect him.

Don’t be fooled by your language, for your language was born from a few languages.
It borrowed from Persia, it also borrowed from Babylon.
Even from Hindi, it was nourished with some words.
So spare me from this copied language and say hello to the language of Al-Daad.

Face it, man! Your language's dying
Why don't you just get rid of it?
Stop whining. No point in crying
It's history you need to get ahead of it
Oh My God! I'm not even lying
I'mma teach my kids how to benefit
From a language that keeps 'em flying
For a better future, for a better fit

We are neither in the Abbasid era nor in the Umayyad state,
But in the era of youth who are detaching from their strongest identity.
In a time of young people defeated and dazzled by English,
As if our past ages were never golden.
No wonder you ask about the reason for the absence of the Arabic language,
To ask about its role in the corridors of scientific research.
And the answer to your question is that it has been unjustly and falsely erased.
By its own children who have wronged it and accused it of being backward.
The language reflects the power of its people among the nations.
The tongues of the world’s people have been proud of it since ancient times.
Go back to your history to know who the masters of speech were.
Arabic literature reigned for a time at the highest peaks.
You’re sensitive about a language that glorifies the sword and its powerful strike,
What about those who praise the battles of war from other nations and languages, non-Arabs?
Everyone praises their weapons from the far east to the west.
The second hardest language to speak, and yet the youth study it,
In all countries, they repeat, “Our language will live with the Quran.”
How, how does the role of Arabic disappear in digital matrices,
While the world writes numbers that came from the womb of Arabic?
Why do you mock the rules of your language and doubt it?
You ridicule its syntax and leave its beautiful rhymes behind.
The beauty of your language is evident, this insult won’t hide it.
Your doubts about the criticism are weak, if I blow on them, I’ll extinguish them.
Did you complain about the abundance and variety of descriptive words?
It’s like a garment we wear according to the circumstance.
Don’t threaten to leave my language and turn away.
Your abandonment of the language, my friend, won’t take away its honor.
If you search for its contributions to science, you will find plenty,
But sadly, we abandoned science, and now knowledge is imprisoned.
Between corruption in the nations, it has become a difficult matter.
And the escape of Arab minds, for the opportunities are abundant there.
You complain about the shape of its letters as if you were a child in kindergarten,
Looking for an excuse for your laziness to stay in this chaos.
I volunteer, let me train you with my pen, please if you accept.
Register your name in my school quickly, don’t pass up the opportunity.
The words of human languages were never exclusive or restricted.
No language in the world has not borrowed from others.
The vision is becoming clearer, I think I know the matter,
It seems the problem is with you, and it seems the problem is great.

Do You [Still] Want Me By Dawn?

Two lit candles by the table
The silence is speaking
I'm obsessed
Enchanted night
Everything outside is still
Your desire glistens in the corner of your eye
My heart pounds
Today will soon be yesterday

The enchantment takes over
And hot feelings sedate us
My self defense [mechanism]
We give and take
But the question lingers on

Tonight I'll make your body and soul glow
Do you [Still] want me by dawn?
In the darkness of the night our love can feed
But do you want to love or run away?
What'll happen next?
What'll happen next?

The first light of dawn
Is soon outside our house
But yet still
We have the night
I want to give you a memory
Something for every sense
So enjoy and feel
And the truth
Can wait a little longer

We meet and we disappear
But if we run out of time
We'll get to stay
And get an answer
You remember the question

Tonight I'll make your body and soul glow

Tonight I'll make your body and soul glow

I'm Still Not Giving Up on Getting the Credits I Need

—This is the story of a certain student, the story of a foolish student who, with exams approaching, starts panicking because he hasn't done anything to do with the exams.

End-of-term tests start tomorrow.
I have to study, I have to take them seriously.
The way it's going, I won't get the credits I need.
It's really bad, it's really bad.

I get back home, put down my bag,
look around, my room's a mess.
It starts bugging me, my room's a mess.
I have to clean up, I have to clean up.

—Next, the student begins to tidy his room. Time relentlessly passes, the date advances. The room's a mess, study hasn't begun.

Tidy up my room! Hurry! Hurry!
What the exam'll cover! Where did I put it? Where did I put it?
Rely on my best guesses! Pray! Pray!
Dawn's not far away! Rush! Rush!

The day of the exam, I slept in.
What a thing to happen! If I jump out of bed,
I'll still be on time. I burst out of the house.
I wait obediently at the red light.

I basically run, sometimes I walk.
By breathing's heavy, my head hurts.
But I don't give up. I won't give up yet.
I'll sit the exam, I'll get my credits.

—One misfortune after the other befalls the student who foolishly woke up late. Nevertheless, the student still won't abandon hope.

To the appointed place! Run! Run!
The end-of-term exam! Take it! Take it!
Sleepiness whispers! Sleep! Sleep!
Beat the drowsiness! Wake up! Wake up!

—Overcoming various trials, the student made it to school in one piece. Thus he can finally sit the exam unashamedly.

I got, I got to the appointed place.
I took, I took the end-of-term exam.
I'm worried about the results! How will it go? How will it go?
All I can do now is pray! Please! Please!

The day after the exam, I slept in.
But it's OK, today's a day off.
I welcome a refreshing morning,
look around, my room's a mess.

I'm tired so I'll leave it as it is.
Next time I feel like it, I'll do it then.
For now, I'll sleep, just have a break.
History will repeat itself again.

—This was the story of a certain student, the story of a foolish student who right before his exams felt like tidying up his room. Now as for the exam results …?

And Come On

And come on, and come on,
you already knew for a long time
that this love of ours
had been with others,

that all of my dreams,
I would never have achieved them,
that I was yours for life until
you had someone else like me.

But come on, but come on,
I already knew for a long time
that these words of mine
I told you were perfect.

And that love at this point
was over already for a long time.
I'm only afraid to tell you because
I'd not have found someone else as dear as you.

So goodbye, best wishes to you
and so goodbye, best wishes to me too.
What's the point of staying together now
if everything's over between us?

So goodbye, best wishes to you
and so goodbye, best wishes to me too.
What's the point of staying together now
if everything's over between us?
What's the point of staying together now
if everything's over between us?
What's the point of staying together now
if everything is over between us?...

It's Christmas

I don't know which star brought you here
And my life was filled with 'I love you'
And I left all my sorrows in the past
They have become love, they have become love
Look outside, it's covered in snow for good
Let's go and play like children
Thousands of lights shine rhythmically

Let it be the beginning
My love, the beginning
All the Christmas together
It's more than just my wish

All the Christmas together
It's from now on my only wish
All these years and celebrations
Let me be in your arms
Let you be in my arms

All the Christmas you should say
Even a thousand and two lives aren't enough for me
To have you here by my side
Every Christmas

It's Christmas
It's Christmas
It's Christmas
It's Christmas...

I don't know if it's a miracle
Or if I'm living a dream
But everything has festive scents
And all the mistakes
They are left the deep

They've become love
They've become love

In front of the fireplace
We're making our own fire
It burns and warms up our own heart
Christmas songs on radio again
They sound loud, very loud

All the Christmas together
It's from now on my only wish
All these years and celebrations
Let me be in your arms
Let you be in my arms

All the Christmas you should say
Even a thousand and two lives aren't enough for me
To have you here by my side
Every Christmas

It's Christmas
It's Christmas
It's Christmas
It's Christmas...
