Water glistening in solitude
On seashores and desolate rocks
 

Everything's poetry: now, at this very moment
My hand scrawling across white paper
A willow tree swaying in the courtyard across my
My baby sleeping in the adjacent room
 

Everything's poetry: the dawn of romance
Incense billowing out of the spring ground
The start and end of hope and anguish
The melody of rain and life as it ebbs and flows
 

Everything's poetry: Perhaps one day...
Poetry - that is, my first love, my first crush -
And all the letters I wrote her in her lap
Will pop out of nowhere and come back...
