The 'i' on the cake

[ EDIT ]
I really don't want to slap you
For a second time

[ RICHÁRD ]
Everything you give is a gift

[ EDIT ]
Keep going, good bye, I'm working here
Can't you see?

[ RICHÁRD ]
You'll see that I won't be a hindrance to your work

[ KETTEN ]
Have some champagne and desserts!
We've just got them, they're fresh!

[ RICHÁRD ]
It better now, right?

[ EDIT ]
It surely isn't

[ RICHÁRD ]
Even a bad romantic pulp starts better
But I can feel it around my heart:
On the sack you are the...1

[ EDIT ]
The whipped cream?

[ RICHÁRD ]
On the patch you are the...2

[ EDIT ]
The dot!

[ RICHÁRD ]
We can mix things up in any way
But you are the 'i' on my cake!3

[ EDIT ]
For how long you'll hold my hand?

[ RICHÁRD ]
For a hundred years and a few minutes

[ EDIT ]
That would be enough time to get used to it

[ RICHÁRD ]
One more kiss and you'll grow to like me

[ EDIT ]
One kiss for one slap, I'm fine with that

[ RICHÁRD ]
It's fine, a hand like this is only healing me

[ EDIT ]
It heals and maybe it invites you for another kiss

[ RICHÁRD ]
Let us begin!

[ EDIT ]
Yes, but...

[ RICHÁRD ]
You are hesitating

[ EDIT ]
Yes, because...

[ RICHÁRD ]
Don't even say it, I know already!

[ BOTH ]
From half-words

[ EDIT ]
I'm still afraid

[ RICHÁRD ]
You can trust me by now

[ EDIT ]
This is madness
You are trying to fool me in vain

[ RICHÁRD ]
Three minutes filled with emotions are a long time for me

[ BOTH ]
Believe this!

No matter how a bad romantic pulp starts
I can feel it around my heart:

[ EDIT ]
You are the whipped cream on the sack
You are the dot on the patch4

[ BOTH ]
A bad romantic pulp ends with a kiss
It'll be the same for us but what do I care
You are the whipped cream on the sack
You are the dot on the patch
We might mix it up in any way
But on my cake you are the...

[ EDIT ]
The sack

[ RICHÁRD ]
The patch

[ EDIT ]
The whipped cream

[ RICHÁRD ]
The dot

  • 1. 'Every sack finds its patch' or 'A sack has found its patch' is a Hungarian proverb that's used when someone quirky or peculiar finds someone equally perky or peculiar who fits them perfectly, like how a sack with a hole in it can be made whole again with the right sized patch.
  • 2. This doesn't make sense in Hungarian either, at this point they are just playing with words.
  • 3. By remaining in the spirit of mixing things up that's been started earlier in the song, they've used this nonsensical expression of being the 'i' on someone's cake.
    Maybe it stems from 'putting the dot on the i' or maybe I'm missing information here that could only be derived from the physical perfomance of the play.
  • 4. Nonsensical stuff (with its roots in the proverb I've described earlier), possibly intended to convey that the lovers are leaving behind rationality and entering their own world.

Melancholy

Melancholy
Dark moments
When he left
a fairytale ended
A bright magic
full of wonder
was this minute of infatuation

But the heart is cold
when dreams have died
And the darkness tremble
Every word feels trite
We were together
Meant to be
Now I walk alone
with my melancholy

Melancholy
Dark moments
When he left
a fairytale ended
A bright magic
full of wonder
was this minute of infatuation

But the heart is cold
when dreams have died
And the darkness tremble
Every word feels trite
We were together
Meant to be
Now I walk alone
with my melancholy

Melancholy
Dark moments
When he left
a fairytale ended

M-Control

From now on, you are my servant.
From now on, you are mine.

Imitate me.
Do as you're told.
Make yourself comfortable.
So that the cracks in your broken heart will be less noticeable.

From now on, you are my servant.
From now on, you are my servant.
From now on you will be my servant
From now on you are my servant
From now on, you are mine.

Imitate me.
Just let it all out.
At least let it out so I can forget.
I wish for you to be able to move on from your brokenness.
May we be able to look forward together forever.

I'll keep on fooling you. Keep on being fooled?

The Chains

You're too unique,
you're too free
and I don't want you to escape
without ever returning.

I put chains on you
and you'll be a prisoner,
you'll never be able
to escape me.

I put chains on you,
I'll be your prison,
you won't leave,
no, no, no, no, yeah!

You have wings too strong,
you're with me, there I have you!
You're looking for too many beaches
but with you I won't take a risk.

I put chains on you
and you'll be a prisoner,
you'll never be able
to escape me.

I put chains on you,
I'll be your prison,
you won't leave,
no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, yeah!

~~~~~
I put chains on you,
I'll be your prison,
you won't leave,
no, no, no, no,
you won't leave, no
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, yeah!
No, no, no...
